PRACTICE UPDATE JANUARY 2020

Dear Patients and Visitors,

 
 
WE ARE OPEN! In line with COVID-19 regulations, there are some changes to our services and the way we work:

• Our hours of work are 9.30am-1pm and 2pm-5pm, Monday to Friday.

• Patients who attend the practice with symptoms consistent with COVID-19 or the flu will be turned away and their appointments re-booked.

• Appointments will be spaced out, and treatments will need to provided in order of priority. This limits the number of patients we can see each day/week.

• Appointment availability for routine check-ups and cleans is limited.

• Only patients with appointments will be allowed in the building. All appointments will need to be pre-booked; our walk-in service is suspended until further notice.

• New patient registration is currently open but limited.

• To support the principles of social distancing, we ask that all patients attend alone (where possible), arrive at their appointment time (not earlier), make payment by card or contactless, and wear a mask in the common areas whenever possible.

• For patients who are vulnerable, please make sure to let the practice know. Depending on the circumstances, we may need to refer you for treatment elsewhere.

• If you need to cancel or rebook your appointment, please try to do so 24 hours in advance.

Our regular opening times are: Monday-Friday 9:00am-1:00pm and 2:00pm-6:00pm
Appointments outside of these hours may be available on a private basis and by arrangement only. We aim to see registered patients requiring urgent treatment within 24 hours.

*We also have staff members who can assist you in Arabic, Spanish, Russian, Amharic, Lithuanian and Bulgarian. Westminster PCT can provide a translation service which can be arranged if you contact the practice at least one week in advance of your appointment.

Our Facilities
We regret that we do not have level access, there are two flights of stairs up to the first floor reception and further two up to our surgeries. There is no lift available.

How to find us
Our nearest tube stations are Royal Oak, Bayswater (both approx 5 mins walk), Queensway (8 mins), and Paddington and Notting Hill Gate (both approx 15-20 mins).
Local buses are 23, 27, 7, 70, 31, 28, 328 and 36.

Parking
Paid by the hour street parking is available through Westminster City Council. There are various bike parking spots nearby, the nearest ones being located on Westbourne Grove and Queensway.
